Our Story

Our paths first crossed when Nicci met her husband Ben, and Jacky was already married to his brother James. We quickly became friends as well as family.

It was soon clear that there were many similarities - Nicci was a Branch Manager for a large independent lettings Agency in Peterborough, and Jacky the Accounts Manager for a leading lettings company in Huntingdon.  We both had sons called Callum that were the same age, and we realised that we would have bumped into each other many times, while the "Callum’s" were playing youth football!  We had also both had premature babies needing a stay on the special care baby unit.

Outside of work, Jacky is still a regular at the side of a football pitch watching her now grown-up sons, and Nicci can be spotted being dragged around the village by her labrador, Bella!  We are both based in Buckden and ended up living in the same street!

As the years went by, we realised we shared the same ambition to one day start our own property management company and had the combined experience and knowledge to do so. And here we are now, having formed Squire Property Management. The family name that binds us!

Having both worked in the property industry since the early 2000’s, we have the knowledge and expertise to complement each other's roles. Jacky holds the ARLA Residential Lettings & Property Management qualification and is accounts, marketing and compliance focused, whilst Nicci concentrates on all aspects of the day-to-day property management, such as property viewings, inspections and telephone contact (this has earned her the nickname Walker the talker, although she needs a new name now that she's married!)
