Accreditation

Letting agents are required by law to hold client money protection, be members of an Ombudsman scheme and protect tenancy deposit funds in one of the Government approved schemes.  This provides protection to Landlords and Tenants.

We are voluntarily accredited by Safeagent, subscribing to their codes of practice.  This is the sign of a reputable agency and ensures the highest standards of industry practice.

The Property Ombudsman (TPO)

TPO is a government approved scheme to provide independent redress in relation to disputes between consumers and property agents. Members must abide by their code of practice which are available to view here.  Membership Number: T05638

Safe Agent

Safeagent Client Money Protection Scheme

All lettings and property management firms handling clients money are required to be part of a government approved Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme, in order to trade.  CMP offers recompense to Tenants and Landlords of rent, unprotected deposits, or other client funds in the event that monies have been misappropriated or fraudulently used.  More information about protecting your money is available to read here or on this page. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is a government approved tenancy deposit protection scheme, operated by The Dispute Service Ltd.  Landlords and letting agents are required to protect deposits, for assured shorthold tenancies, in a government approved scheme.  Squire Property Management use the TDS insured scheme which provides deposit protection, with free, impartial dispute resolution for when disagreements arise over how the deposit funds are divided.  More information about the scheme is available here.
