Our paths first crossed 10 years ago when Nicci met her now fiance Ben, and Jacky was already married to his brother James. We quickly became friends as well as family.
We soon realised that there were many similarities - Nicci was a Branch Manager for a large independent lettings Agency in Peterborough, and Jacky the Accounts Manager for a leading lettings company in Huntingdon. We also both had sons of the same name and age, and realised that we would have bumped into eachother many times, while they were playing youth football!
Outside of work, Jacky is still a regular at the side of a football pitch watching her sons, and Nicci can be spotted being dragged around the village by her labrador, Bella! We are both based in Buckden and ended up living in the same street!
As the years went by, we realised we shared the same ambition and aspirations, to one day start our own property management company. And here we are now, having formed Squire Property Management! The family name that binds us!
We started trading in January 2021 and went into National Lockdown 1 day after opening, but the business continued to grow and thrive regardless. In fact, Squire Property Management have won awards listing us as "exceptional" in the Best Estate Agency Guide 2022 & 2023, putting us in the top 2% of Letting Agencies in the country, which was a fantastic achievement! https://bestestateagentguide.co.uk/ We have also won "Best Property Management Firm 2023 - Cambridgeshire" in The Southern Enterprise Awards.
With more than 30 years combined experience in the property industry, we have the knowledge and expertise to compliment eachother's role. Jacky is very accounts, marketing and compliance focused, whilst Nicci concentrates on all aspects of the day to day property management, such as property viewings, inspections and telephone contact (this has earned her the nickname Walker the talker!)
